I honestly don't think we need to worry about this. I looked at the campaign site and it looks like something that's only happening on Youtube. As long as the songs are allowed to stay on Nico Nico, Vocaloid will never disappear. Whoever is doing this is just wasting their own time and will eventually get bored and stop.
